This treatise was designed for the D'n'D setting, however, the principles involved are broadly applicable:

Also, the author has a killer D'n'D web comic with a grand story arc. The artwork is mediocre, but lovable in a South Park kind of way: The Order of the Stick (not to be confused with their archnemises: the Linear Guild):
Hrm… Falthon just pointed out to me that if you click on the URLs above you get redirected to an error from example.com.
If you copy and paste these URLs into your browser, they will take you to Giaint in the Playground's web site. I don't know why wikidot messes up the URLs if you click on them directly.
I was able to fix the links. This table gives a useful overview on the Wikidot syntax for URL's.
Thanks for the fix Falthon. I was trying to use the URL GUI button to make those links before. I didn't notice it stuck in example.com as the actual target before. The table you gave is pretty clear.
Thanks again!
I've been turning a DnD to d10 conversion over in my head for some time. I have an idea for a High Roller who wants to be a DnD Wizard, and I'll definitely get on the conversion of the magic system if I ever get around to playing him. I may also run an actual campaign based on that. Either way, conversions will be posted here.
The 3rd edition feats system is a potential mining resource for maneuvers, as well.
