- Woke up on an island. Honestly, I'm completely baffled about this, but there's a few others here as well. Sergeant Rowan, Senator Hays, Chief Bo Perkins, Hugo Perkins, and one man whose name I didn't get and whose face I don't quite remember…he did give me his number though. Should give him a call.
- The others all seem convinced that we are here for a… Game? I have no idea what they're talking about. I gather this is somewhat standard, but I think I'll just follow Hays' lead. He's well known for dealing with this sort of thing, though I never knew there was such a structure to it. Interesting.
- An unusual woman gave us a task to accomplish. Get inside the research facility and retrieve the documents for a specific project, then destroy the facility. She assured us that we would find sufficient reason to be willing to do this once we went into the facility. This is beginning to sound a little too familiar… I hope no one dies this time. I really do.
- The fellow without a name seemed in a bad mood. He stormed off once he realized we would need a boat to get to the ship, Rowan covered him with that scary-large sniper she had strapped to her back. I should mention the interference. There was something disabling all of our electronics, so when he came back with a boat, we didn't need to worry about the guards radioing in about our presence.
- We got to the ship without incident. Thankfully, I started carrying around all sorts of gear after what happened to me on Five's ill fated little mission, so I had a rope to tie the boat down. I was the only one who brought dedicated rope, though Rowan had some parachute cord. Different experiences, I suppose. I'll have to ask them about what they've gone through themselves. After the mission, of course.
- Um. Okay, we're coming in a bit heavy handed, but I'm okay with non-lethal ordinance. Taser is a bit painful, but the guard lived through it, and even gave us some useful info, though the nameless man did a fantastic job of helping him along with that. I could relate it, but it was in Spanish, and you'd have to see it in the same language to really appreciate it.
- Went to the room that the guard pointed us to. Supplies, and a sign in log. The ship isn't the facility, its just camouflage. The actual facility is almost certainly underneath the ship, and the workers move in and out in shifts.
- Had an incident while swimming to the base. By incident I mean that Hugo and I were shot through with harpoons. This is quite sincerely the most pain I've ever been in. Except for maybe when I fell in the pit that other time… no, this was worse. Those were bruises, this is a harpoon through the chest.
- Oh yes, forgot to mention this tidbit: apparently the nameless man has a…thing… for killing people and collecting their heads. I was going to ask him about counter-magic, and other such things, but I don't know if I want to risk that. I'm… rather attached to my head. Like it where it is.
- We found the research logs without any further incident. Apparently, they are making monsters down here. It also seems that they managed to escape. I'm almost certain that we'll have to deal with them on the way out. Hugo rigged up an explosive in the gas room to blow the facility when triggered.
- Yes, as expected. Hugo was safe in his box, but the rest of us had to deal with the mutated sea monster. Mostly Rowan, she's…rather effective at killing things. Also doesn't seem to need to breathe. I'd ask, but… yeah, she's scary too. I'm not asking her or the nameless man anything unless its really important.
- We got to shore without too much other difficulty. Only two more sea monsters, but Rowan dealt with those in short order. We turned in the papers the woman on shore had requested, and destroyed the facility. We briefly spoke with the woman, before we… fell asleep. Magic? Probably. Another one to the 'Dangerous Persons' list.
